The 2017 Varsity spring soccer season concluded the first week of the pre-season in the bitter cold with an intra-squad scrimmage on a cold clear sunny snowy Saturday afternoon.

The Varsity Spring Soccer Team won the Championship of the 18th annual Troy Buchanan Tournament held in Wentzville, Mo. The three day ‘road-trip’ provided the players the opportunity to build the team chemistry that was an integral part of the Varsity team this year.

The girls ended the regular season on 5/11/17 at home on ‘Senior Night’ vs Lafayette with a total team effort for a Win with PKs.

Due to the floods in the St. Louis area, the Tigers played 4 games in 5 days the next afternoon and beat eventual 4 A Champs Eureka. The Tigers played the best game of the season on a hot and muggy spring afternoon with a short bench—(3-subs).

The Tigers finished the season 13-6-2 with a sectional loss to St. Joseph’s Academy.
