Boys Varsity Soccer · Oakville Soccer District Champions

The Oakville Soccer team has prepared all season to peak at the end.  The Tigers played tough competition every week and grew as a team.  That dedication paid off this past Tuesday night as they became the 2018 Class 4, District 4 Champions in a thrilling 3-0 win over host school Saint Louis University High School.

On a beautiful night, the team played a complete game which ebbed and flowed smoothly.  Goalie Tommy Purschke made key saves to keep the shut out and the defense worked hard to keep the ball out of our end.  Scoring a hat trick was Senior JB Bilyeu who increased his season goals to 30.  It’s an exciting time to be a part of WAOS!

With this win, the Tigers will host the Sectional match up between Oakville and Marquette on Tuesday, November 6, 2018.  Kick off at 6:00pm at Oakville High School.  Admission is $7.00.  Follow along with all Class 4 post season action HERE
