Winter Sports to Start with some Changes

The chill in the air means that Winter Sports are here!  While this school year and sports seasons have been nothing short of challenging, together we have been able to provide the opportunity for our kids to play.

Per the updates to guidelines by the St Louis County Health Department yesterday and the subsequent action by the St Louis Suburban Associationwe have adopted the following regulations for home events.  These will be in effect until further notice.

Two major changes to take note of:
  • We will not be hosting any spectators at this time.  Players, coaches, managers, administrators and other team personnel (such as a camera person for streaming) WILL be allowed into games.  This does NOT include general spectators, including family members. (This is a conference wide policy)
  • Everyone MUST WEAR A face covering AT ALL TIMES.  This includes participants in contests.  (This is a Department of Health policy)
    • The only exception to that guideline would be swimmers in the water.  They may remove masks just prior to entering the water but must put them back on immediately after exiting the pool.

We will continue to revisit and adapt our guidelines to the ever changing landscape in St. Louis County and within the Suburban Conference.

For home events in Gym A, we will broadcast live on our YouTube Channel  OHSTigersLiveStream.
We need 1000 followers for games to be free when not in our gym.  Please subscribe and share with family and friends to do the same.

Winter Schedules are linked below.  PLEASE NOTE THAT THEY WILL BE CHANGING daily.  With COVID, county guidelines and transportation games may be cancelled or rescheduled last minute.  Notifications will be handled via coaching staff to players and families.  Thank you for being flexible and supportive as we begin to navigate the season.
