Congratulations to Senior Swimmer, Meg Heveroh – two MSHSAA State Meet medals!  With this year’s COVID restrictions and a few alterations in the the season, Meg was still a rock star and placed 2nd in the 500 Freestyle and 7th in the 50 freestyle at the MSHSAA State Swim Meet held at St. Peters RecPlex on Friday, February 19, 2021.  It has been a great season for Heveroh who also set two new school records this winter in the 500 freestyle with a time of 5:16.33 and the 50 freestyle with a time of 24.47.  What determination and commitment!

This student athlete has set the bar high for girls swimmers to come at Oakville.  In her 4 year high school career, Meg has set seven school records, which is an amazing accolade in itself.

  • 2020 – 500 freestyle [5:16.33]
  • 2020 – 50 freestyle [24.47]
  • 2019 – 100 freestyle [54:09]
  • 2019 – 200 freestyle [1:57.67]
  • 2018 – 100 breaststroke [1:09.43]
  • 2018 – 200 individual medley [2:12.24]
  • 2018 – 200 medley relay member [1:58.97]

Meg will continue her swimming career at Truman State next year!  Good luck to this standout student athlete, Oakville could not be prouder!
