MSHSAA Academic Requirements for High School Students 

MSHSAA Student Eligibility flow chart. 1. Are you a student athlete or in a MSHSAA Activity? All options are listed;; baseball, basketball, cross country, field hockey,. football. golf, lacrosse. soccer,. softball, swim, tennis, volleyball, water polo, wrestling, quiz bowl, band, cheer, choir, dance, speech and debate., twirlers. 2. To be eligible. You must be a crrently enrolled student in a minimum of 3.0 units of credit and passed 3.0 units of credit last semester to be academically eligible. 3. Are you a traditional student? You take all of your classes at OHS. 4. Are you a non-traditional student? You are in CAPS, Flex, Missouri Options, PLL,. Tech or Dual Enrolled. 5. How to count dual enrollment? 3 college hours course is equal to .5 high school credit and a five hour college course is equal to 1.0 units of highs chool credit. 6. If you aren't enrolled or passing 3.0 credits? Please contact your counselor immediately. 7. Are you a good citizen? You must have credible citizenship, no long term suspensions, no multiple susepension and no felonies. 8. Attendance - do you come to school? If you are a traditional student, you must attend school daily to be eligible for practice and or games. 9. Are you registered in Final Forms? All student athletes and students in MSHSAA activities must be registered yearly in Final Forms. 10. Still Have questions?
