The boys golf team is moving rapidly through the 2026 season.  While match play for Varsity has not lived up to expectations, they had a breakout performance at the Seckman Challenge Tournament on April 15.  Played at Oak Valley Golf Course in Pevely, the tournament featured 17 teams and 84 total golfers.  Despite lightning delays and rain, the team finished tied for 3rd, only 2 shots out of first place.  Leading the charge was Matt G. with a one under par round of 71, good for individual first place.

The JV team is currently undefeated in match play this year with outstanding performances during tournaments as well!  On March 31 the JV team participated in the Jordan Scheer Annual Washington Tournament at Wolf Hollow Golf Course.  The team finished 3rd in the blue division (9 teams) and 5th overall (18 teams).  Carson C. and Aidan M. both medaled at the tournament with Carson finishing in 2nd place for the blue division with a round of 78.  The JV team also competed in the Lafayette Lancer Ryder Cup match play event at Paradise Valley.  Cooper H. medaled by winning his match with an impressive round of 75.  While not medaling, Bradley E. also had an impressive day with a round of 76.

The boys team will conclude the regular season over the next two weeks.  The team has several tournaments and matches coming up, including the varsity Senior Night match against district rival Mehlville at The Club at Castle Bluff on Wednesday, April 29.  Early May will feature the Varsity competition at the Conference Tournament at Aberdeen on May 5th as well as the District Tournament at The Legends on May 11. Go Tigers!!
