Strong Tournament Performance for the Golf Team

On Thursday September 10th five members of the golf team competed in the 18 hole Lindbergh Tournament at the Links of Dardenne.  The girls had a great showing finishing 12th out of 23 teams.  These girls will use this tournament as a learning experience heading in to the Conference Tournament on 9/24.

Golf Team/Teacher Scramble

On Friday 9/11, the Oakville Girls golf team had tons of fun on the golf course.  Each player invited a teacher to come play the course at Quail Creek with them.  The Tigers [student & teacher] played a two person scramble.  This was a great opportunity for the girls to share a round of golf

The Girls golf season is underway, the girls have competed in 6 matches [Notre Dame, Seckman, Northwest, &Eureka] one of the 6 matches was a tri-match in which we competed against 2 other schools [Parkway South & Marquette]. The girl’s golf team was victorious over the Northwest Lions in a conference match held at Quail Creek Golf Course on Thursday, Sept. 4.  Tara Vogler claimed second place honors.  Alexa Shelton, Bailey Fedorchak and Briana Hagan rounded out the win for Oakville. Girls Golf Advances three to Sectionals

Congratulations to the Oakville Tigers Girls Golf Team for advancing three girls to Sectionals, to be held Monday, 10/14 at Crown Point in Farmington.  Oakville was the host for the 2013 District Tournament at Aberdeen Golf Course.  Alexa Shelton, Tara Vogler & Abby Menkus will represent the Tigers next week.
